Last Sunday I was lucky enough to be invited to Spend the day in London at the beautiful Dorchester hotel for the Asda Little Angels blogger event with Myriad PR. To say we were thoroughly spoilt was an understatement.
We were greeted by the lovely staff at the Dorchester and taken through to the most beautiful room and served the most delicious mocktail, which on a boiling hot day was very much welcomed by us pregnant mamas. The Event started off with a presentation from the lovey ladies at Asda Little Angels nappies. The presentation was both educational and informative and its rare to come across a brand that really have their customers best interest at the forefront of their minds. It was clear from the presentation that Asda little angels have taken the time to speak with "real mums" to find out what we want and need from a nappy. For me they tick absolutely every box and more with regard's to what I would want, need and expect from a nappy.
- Wetness indicator
- Elasticated back to prevent those dreaded poo explosions
- Clear markings for the sticking tabs to go and once you are in the "white zone" that means its time to move up a size.
- Umbilical cord cut out to avoid irritation
- Super soft lining to protect baby's delicate skin
As a first time mum it can be incredibly daunting. There are so many things to consider and choices to make but you can rest assured that Asda little angels have done their home work and listened to what mums want and need. I for one cant wait to put these nappies to the test when my little one makes their debut in January.
After the presentation we were served afternoon tea, which was a selection of sandwiches, the Dorchester's bespoke tea and a selection of Wimbledon themed cakes. I think I can speak for everyone when I say the food was delicious and we left with very full and happy tummy's.
Once we has finished we were shown to the most beautiful changing room I have ever been in and we got dressed in our robes ready for our pregnancy massages. My therapist was a lovely lady who took the time to ask me questions about myself and my pregnancy so that she could give the most suitable massage for me. I'm not sure there are enough words to justify just how wonderful the massage was. I left the room feeling like I was floating on a cloud. After several months of non stop morning sickness, this was a very much needed and welcomed treat and I am itching to book another one.
Just when we thought we couldn't have been lavished anymore, we were gifted some beautiful goodie bags for ourselves and for baby. Some of the products are new too me so I cant wait to put them to the test once baby is here.
Having spent some time with the lovely ladies from Asda Little Angels and having used some of there products with my previous two children, I truly believe they are a brand that can be trusted and loved by mums. They focus on being their for "US" and when it comes to using something on the most important and cherished thing in your life...your little baby, having that faith and trust in a brand is so important and I think Asda little Angels are an excellent example of what real mums need and want.
A massive thank you again to the Dorchester hotel, Myriad PR and Asda Little Angels for having me at such a wonderful event. It was a wonderful experience and meeting lots other pregnant ladies made the day even more special. I look forward to seeing you all again.
