Christmas Lunch at Toby Carvery*
Last week I was kindly invited to come along and try out Toby Carvery's festive menu! A roast dinner just happens to be one of my favourite meals, so I was really looking forward to trying out what they had to offer.
Like most parents myself and my husband don't get very much time together as a couple. So on Friday we took the day to do some Christmas shopping and then went to our local Toby Carvery for lunch. We had starters which consisted of the traditional pigs in blankets. For the main we both went for the carvery which gave you so many options it was difficult to choose. The food was served quickly and nice and hot! The food was continuously being brought out so everything was fresh and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
After a large starter and main we just about managed to squeeze in one of toby amazing desserts. We decided to split a cookie dough sundae which was incredible. Being heavily pregnant and chocolate and sweet things being my main craving, this pudding hit the spot.
Its not just the Carvery they serve, they have a wide selection of options to choose from if a roast didn't take your fancy. They also have a great children's menu and the restaurant are very accommodating for families and small children, and its somewhere we have taken our children often for a family meal.
Great food at great prices, it really is a fantastic place to eat whatever the occasion. A quick lunch whilst having a break from shopping, a Christmas work meal or a nice family roast. Whatever your requirements, Toby Carvery will be able to accommodate you.
A huge thank you to Toby Carvery for having us and looking after us so well. We will be heading to our local one again over the festive season.
